Evidential apologetics is not enough to regenerate hearts. What I mean is that natural evidence that God exists is not enough to save. The heart of the issue is sin, and believing that God exists does not naturally lead one to owning their depravity and insurrection against God.
2/ My dad did not believe in God in my childhood. In fact, he hated us talking about Him. Over the years he has changed and believes that you can look at the complexity of nature and know that God exists just as Paul says in Romans 1. Yet, he still won't repent.
3/ Why? Because he doesn't want a Savior. He likes his sin, doesn't want to call the things he has done sin, and doesn't like the fact of having to submit to God. Those are his own words.

It is hearing the gospel and the truth in Scripture that penetrates hearts. Evidence of God's existence does not do this. Even the words of Scripture have to plant in fertile soil first...

Evidential apologetics are not efficacious in regeneration. Pre-suppositional is the best way as we use God's word to combat the world because Scripture is axiomatic.
