Starting next week I will be posting much more with NBA/NHL/NFL all running together. So I wanted to write something up on bankrolls and unit sizes because while I expect to win more than I lose, I will still lose. The greatest bettors on earth still lose 40% of their bets.
First we set a bankroll:

DISCLAIMER

Never bet what you cant afford to lose. Set money aside that will have no impact on your bills or family. If you are betting with money that is for rent or bills or food and supplies for you or your family then you need to seek help.
There is no shame in going to GA if it means a better life for you and your family. Some people do not have the restraint to only bet with what they can afford to lose and if that is the case for you; it's admirable to get help.
So we have a bankroll set. An amount you can afford to lose.
Now your unit size or amount you bet per game. When I did this full time I bet 1-5% of my bankroll (1-5 units) per play depending on my confidence.

5% is the upper limit. DO NOT exceed 5% on any 1 play!
With discipline and readjusting your unit size when your bankroll increases or decreases by 20% you will begin to put money in your pockets. It will help you survive skids. This is a longterm startegy. Don't chase. Stay the course. Dont bet over 5% on a play

POM coming now folks
