@RaccoonRavitz has been permanently banned, and no one can apparently say WHY.
THIS IS BULLSHIT, and it makes it clear that NO RESISTER IS SAFE. It's obvious that Resisters' speech is punished FAR MORE than Trump and his minions.

anyone, insult anyone and remain on the service, when a man who posts sweet videos of the raccoons on his deck has been BANNED.
His live protests of the KKK, etc. do NOT affect Twitter at all-and if his peaceful protests in person got him kicked off Twitter, it's a real 👇

When we signed up for our accounts here, I don't recall signing away my rights/freedoms as a citizen. I don't recall anything about having to be a mealy mouth chickenshit to keep from being BANNED, either!
Twitter would not exist without the 👇

myriad voices we all represent. Some of the most powerful voices have already been banned due to the actions of cowards on the Right, who apparently can handle ANYTHING but an opposing opinion, and who roam Twitter, attacking the loudest and clearest voices and massing complaints

in order to have them banned.
As long as the Right has the guarantee that Trump's mean and unfounded mouthings won't be touched, they have an advantage over every other voice here; an advantage that is unfair, even UNAMERICAN in its scope.

In the meantime, if @RaccoonRavitz's banning makes you as angry as it makes me...then SPEAK UP. Ask Twitter to either stop the vague bullshit and the use of obscure, unexplained, unclear, inconsistent and often unwritten "rules" or to publish a list

of the accounts that get banned and the reasons for those bans.
Being put in "Twitmo" for hours or days is one thing-but banning someone for reasons which, in the absence of explanation, seem mercurial to the best and fairest of us-is bound to garner distrust and unease. If

I've no doubt that some will say that Resisters DESERVE banning, and in some cases, that may be true. Certainly no sane person supports endless harassment, threats of violence or death, or the

like...but although the First Amendment offers no protections on Twitter (unless, I suppose, you're dealing w/the gov't!) still the SPIRIT of Twitter, certainly, is imbued with the fire of Free Speech in all its imperfect glory. It bristles at the very thought of "banned" 👇

So, Mr. Dorsey...can you address months of similar nonsense, and make a statement enlightening us ALL about EXACTLY how these decisions to BAN users are undertaken, and why it seems that the bannings increased and sped up after your

visit to the White House?
There is, after all, a remedy of sorts, and that involves classifying Twitter & other Social Media as Utilities, and administering them as such. If you believe that such an action would stifle the 'free voice' that you've tried so hard to maintain...

then perhaps a new commitment to that "free voice" is in order.

We have all become FAR too sensitized-we used to be able to debate without hate, but it seems to be beyond even our most high-minded ideals now. If there is something you don't like, then simply don't read it- ignore it. The only things that should actually be 'banned'

are statements of true hate speech and threats of violence/death, neither of which should ever be protected. Free Speech merely protects our RIGHT to speak your mind; it was never designed to protect you from the CONSEQUENCES of doing so.

Mr. Dorsey; if you'd make clear your

purpose in banning this Resister, it would go a long way toward tamping down the inevitable theories. It would be even BETTER if you could explain exactly what scale is used to determine who gets merely stood down, and who ultimately gets BANNED FOR LIFE. Perhaps you can also

tell us why the permanent banning of Resisters has gone from a slow drumbeat to a deafening tattoo over such a relatively short time? @RaccoonRavitz didn't seem to even have suffered any recent disciplinary issues that usually occur prior to a full 'banning'...then suddenly, he

was GONE.

So, Resisters all...guard well your accounts! This situation has proven (to me, at least) that, far from confirming the existence of a "DEEP STATE", it instead confirms the unfortunate existence of SHALLOW PEOPLE, who while wishing to have every right to their OWN

opinions, still would report, disapprove of, and ultimately call for the CENSORSHIP of the inconvenient opinions of those with whom they would disagree.
