This thread...The Islamists have always been better at propaganda & pushing their agenda. Hinduphobia does not have the kind of resonance that Islamophobia has because the Islamists have worked hard at pushing that narrative.
Most people (at least those who matter when it comes to setting the narrative) will make a distinction between Islam and terrorism - it is always - "Islam is a peaceful religion but terrorism is a result of a few misguided people who have misinterpreted the holy book
The reality however is very different - Islamic fundamentalism is a product of the fundamentals of the religion itself but that shall never be said - not by anyone - have often wondered if it is fear or favor or a combination of both
Hindutva (which is not the same as Hinduism or Sanatana Dharma) gets a bad rap precisely because no one has taken the trouble to re-frame the narrative - Hindus are fair game precisely because Hindutva is often thought to be the same as Sanatana Dharma which is not true
Hindutva is a term of political convenience that can be bent to suit the current needs - it is a political movement and nothing else
