Cantor doesn't seem to know how witnesses are going to respond to his questions which I dunno as lawyering goes seems bad?
IANAL but my understanding from TV shows is good lawyers anticipate the answers and lay out lines of questioning to put particular facts on the record?
I was really hoping Castor's line of questioning about why Yovanovitch didn't do more to push back against right-wing media conspiracy theories against her was going to conclude with, "Shouldn't you have donated to @mmfa?" but alas.

Last night, Hannity crowed, "finally after years of waiting, thanks to the Horowitz probe now at an end, justice is about to be served." He's been promising Comey and McCabe in handcuffs. Not looking good for the conspiracy theories.
(Of course Hannity and company will either lie and say they've been vindicated, or claim Horowitz is a Deep Stater in on the cover-up and Durham is the one who will really get the job done.)

So many questions.
Are we suggesting that men are hard wired to respond to grief by removing themselves from the situation? That they are incapable of handling their feelings? As in they can't be present & supportive because they just don't have it in them.That it's their nature?
Like when, for the longest time, men didn't attend births because it was commonly believed that they couldn't handle it. That being there would affect their perception of the woman who birthed their child. They'd never look at her the same way. So they couldn't be there.

However, such lawyers are not allowed to appear in court, nor is it a good idea because litigators in specific courts have better knowledge of what works and what doesn’t before a certain judge. So big companies are always hiring litigators for all their litigation related work.

The editor's basis for saying this was that they, the editor, had been watching the show "Atypical."

Buckle up: I am going to talk about this AT LENGTH.
In this thread, if you are NT, I am going to explain several reasons why you SHOULD NOT EVER judge if a character is "autistic enough" by how well they match autistic characters on TV. Any TV.

Then when I am done with that I will suggest some things you can do instead.
Why should you not judge autistic characters by what you see on TV? There are several reasons.

There are several types of autistic representation on TV, from good to horrible. None of them should be used as a litmus test for another character's autisticness.

1 When Taleb was student he was advised to choose a scalable career path. If you’re a doctor, dentist, consultant or message proffessional, there is a limit to the amount of clients you can see in a day AND the amount of money you can make in one day
2 t isn’t scalable.The pay is more or less predictable and depends on your continuous effort. There will be differences in your income over time, but no single day of work will have a huge impact on your lifetime earnings.
3) The d/f between the successful and less successful isn’t to big, and at least somewhat predictable. These professions isn’t black swan driven and is performed in Mediocristan.

Now on the subject of a certain twitter account I have been trying to decode & find the actual evidence for all my intuitions: earlier I said I feel I have observed enough to be certain the person is a man. Now I was just thinking over things & I think I can be certain said ...
person is of only a slightly older generation than me (Gen X) born a decade before & most likely in their 40’s somewhere - based on small cultural clues & they don’t feel quite old enough or “out of touch” (no offense) to be 50 or older. I did sense older male (than myself).
I base most of this intuitions on just the basic way of expressing themselves & again cultural clues like media references - person seems to post gifs or references to TV shows that might have held significance to someone of that generation as a child growing up in UK.
