Confession: We were paid to provide these things for the Stadia display. They didn't know what they wanted, changed the scope about four times, and ended up mish-mashing two different concepts that worked together into one that didn't.
The text on the placards was draft text I barfed out quickly. I was like "This is just for context, have your writers re-do this." They were printed as-is, typos and all.
That said though, they paid great, and the money was CRUCIAL to helping @GameHistoryOrg's Game Informer preservation project happen in May, so I'm super thankful for the opportunity, as bizarre as the final presentation ended up being.
I'll explain the concept as best I can:

- Home console history that leads up to the launch of the Stadia (makes sense!)

- Scope changed to "cool things people will want to take pictures of" (E.T., Power Glove)

- Last minute change back to consoles, but for like half the things
Part of our pushback was that we would only display things that were easily replaceable, that there was 24-hour security, and that the displays were UV-coated. Not PERFECT but good enough for common items on display for three days.

@GameHistoryOrg What if I put all the objects up as a charity auction for @GameHistoryOrg. "RECREATE THE EPIC STADIA DISPLAY AT HOME"

They're just kinda sitting in a tub taking up space right now.
No SoundCloud but I run a charity to preserve the history of video games, maybe throw us a couple bucks? We have a Patreon too:
