If you don’t have an understanding of just how political and terrible JAG can be, you should do a little investigation for yourself before weighing in on this.
To start with, Ted Lieu is a JAG officer - that right there should tell you something.
There have been numerous...
Examples of JAG completely railroading soldiers either for their own promotion points or for pure politics.
I have a thread pinned to my Twitter account that discusses why military & veterans love President Trump, and just how terrible Obama was to the military.
CNN & MSNBC may
Be able to find a random soldier now and again who will be against him, but warfighters love him because he respects us, supports us and let’s warfighters do their job - unlike Obama who saw war as a purely political animal, and wanted to let bureaucrats run the US Mil instead-
Of Generals.
Just like the smug & self-entitled SOBs we’ve been seeing as Adam “compulsive liar” Schifty’s witnesses (who didn’t actually witness anything), many of the issues we’re seeing today in the military are either led by Obama holdovers or a part of his legacy that-
Hasn’t been rooted out yet.
I watched a great documentary about the soldier who was thrown in jail for an incident in Fallujah, where the JAG claimed he murdered an entire innocent family.
The documentary noted that the JAG had never actually sent anyone to investigate the -
Scene of the “crime” for a very long time, and had put most of their focus on applying intense pressure to the soldiers under him, threatening their careers and families if they didn’t testify against their squad leader.
Which is a tactic we heard was also employed in this case-
against Gallagher.
Weird, huh. It’s almost like that’s a frequent tactic by JAG.
The soldier’s defense attorney hired an actual crime scene investigator who was world renowned, and he was able to blow the JAGs theory of what happened out of the water immediately.
By merely -
Going to the scene of the “crime” and walking through it.
Do you remember the Blackwater contractors who were arrested for “opening fire on innocent Iraqi citizens” although they all claimed they had been fired upon?
The media only reported the part of that story they (and Obama
) wanted you to know. If you’re curious what I mean, you should catch up with where those contractors & their case are today.
I’m grateful that we live in a culture of celebrating soldiers as heroes - it means a lot when a nation can give thanks & support to those who protect
them.
If the media could apply that same respect to @GenFlynn & @Jim_Hickman13 it would be even better.
But something you really need to understand, which most soldiers do, is that there are soldiers out there who view the military as nothing more than a political stepping -
Stool.
They don’t care about taking care of the men under them or doing the best for our nation- they only care about their own career advancement.
I’m not sure if this is a case of career chasing JAG officers, holdovers from Obama’s “send them to war but fry them if they fight
culture, or just Navy brass who’ve never been in combat themselves & have no understanding of the pressures and carnage of war.
But I do know that President Trump has better insights into this than anyone in the MSM.
As we’ve seen in Spygate, investigators can sometimes use
their authority and trust to do terrible things.
But at the end of the day, we have a SEAL who killed a very bad guy. Taking a picture with the dead body of a scumbag who murdered Americans isn’t even worth a moment to worry about.
President Trump has proven that he loves,
respects and takes care of our soldiers & veterans.
So let him take care of this one & stay in your lane.
And if the Navy brass is willing to trash a warfighter for a political statement, perhaps their career progression should end immediately.
Obey your Commander in Chief.
