A couple things come to mind: One, I wrote about how Democrats were trending towards an all white top tier in October. nytimes.com/2019/10/29/us/…
Two: The top tier would NOT be all-white if black and Latino Democrats were supporting the black and Latino candidates. They are not, at this time. The key here is the theme of this story, that representation is not the sole priority for this group

It is simplistic, and reductive, to ignore this. There's a lot of folks on this app whose "trust POC voters" mantra only extend far enough that POC voters are doing what they want them to do
