—120 on district courts
—48 on circuit courts
—2 on Supreme Court

Nearly all are in their 40s or 50s with lifetime appointments and positioned to shape American law for generations.
(That number is higher if you include courts of international trade, tax, bankruptcy and others.)

Mischief-Making: A plurality of Republicans say Tulsi Gabbard won the last Democratic debate (per Economist/YouGov poll).
Economist/YouGov poll:

President Trump’s job approval rating in the USA is 41% 👍 to 52% 👎. Among Republicans, it’s 87% 👍.

Americans says 46-38% Trump should be impeached. Among Republicans, 81% say don’t impeach.
Here’s an eye-popping statistic: 53% of Republicans say Donald Trump is a better president than Abraham Lincoln (47% say Lincoln was better).

Among Americans overall, 75%-25% say Lincoln was better.

What @ddayen notes is Warren has to rebuild trust. Her advisors do not understand the cost of her endorsing Clinton in 2016. They think it's obvious she's not part of the establishment, after all they've been fighting Geithner for years. It is not obvious.
@ddayen I watched @krystalball offer a fairly brutal take down of Warren this morning on The Hill's Rising, and while I don't agree with Ball's analysis, what she argued was entirely plausible. There is a trust deficit. I trust Warren and it's not really her fault, but life's not fair.

Pete's moves right comes after his campaign spent 3x more on polling in Q3 than anybody except Tom Steyer. Top bundlers suggested he cool it on Supreme Court expansion, and he's quietly dropped that portion from his stump speech.

Plenty of evidence Pete has always been a centrist. In 2010 he courted Tea Partiers during his IN treasurer race.
