At the top of December I stopped doing the gmorning/gnights. Just...to see what would happen.
I breathed easier. I got a big chunk of time back in my mornings. And giving it up was good prep for what’s next.
My New Years’ resolution for 2020 is Tweet Less, Create More.
Not quitting the app. Just taking several steps back. Doubling down on my work. Handing the password to the missus.
Grateful for the MANY MANY for-real friends I have made on here. Grateful for the distractions and the q&a’s and the gifs but mostly you, mostly grateful for you.

Sorry, @AnandWrites this is very much NOT TRUE. We have never sat next to each other on TV. I joined @CNN in 2007. Seven years earlier, my appendix ruptured at the @DNC convention. Spent five days in the hospital. Had no health insurance. Car was repossessed at the airport 1/6

It was all process. I said, “put folks like me on the air who filed bankruptcy due to healthcare.” @AnandWrites, I knew the personal struggles of many of my Black and brown on-air folks. We were never in the $2M, $5M, $10M pool. We don’t get the $50K speeches where they send 3/6

Happy Saturday, y'all!
Tonight is my last night at the paycheck job lol before I take my short loa.. last night was brutal lol not gonna lie. But, let me share with you why I'm so looking forward to going.
My co-workers are mostly in the 19-22 year old range. A handful of folks my age and older. Then a few in between.
But, regardless of their age, they've all pretty much chosen the same nickname for me. 'Mama Linda'
I'm blessed with unlimited smiles and hugs from people who are genuinely happy to see me. Over and over I hear "Mama I'm so glad you're here! I've been dying to tell you what happened the other day!"

(THREAD) The GOP claim that there's no corroboration of Dr. Ford's allegation that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her is a lie. Corroborating evidence—evidence that tends to support a proposition—already exists. I'll detail as much of it as I can. I hope you'll read on and RETWEET.
1/ The GOP falsely claims "corroborating evidence" only exists when you have an innocent bystander at the scene of the crime who can later tell law enforcement, "I saw it all." You almost *never* have that sort of evidence in a sex crime—and that's *not* what corroboration means.
2/ Corroboration is any fact that is "probative" with respect to a given proposition—meaning, it tends to *support* a given proposition. Any fact known to law enforcement that tends to support the proposition that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted Dr. Ford is "corroborating evidence."
