Episode 8 bazillion in “Brains are Weird”:

I felt like listening to polka music this morning. First time in my life. So I did. It’s...pleasant. Very tidy. I like how all the different strands wrap up at the end of a song.
I listened to a random spotify polka playlist on the bus all the way downtown...and then suddenly remembered that my German grandfather’s family used to break out the polka 45s at family parties. o_0
My grandpa & dad were both the babies of the family, and this was an older generation thing - so at the last event where that happened, I might have been 4 or 5.

I totally didn’t remember that until this morning my subconscious was like ~~“OOM PAH MUSIC YOU WANT OOM PAH MUSIC”~~
