A great example of scientism—a scientific dogmatism which is an ideological blindness not a quest for knowledge.

The energy during an eclipse is said to be conducive for meditation. How would you setup a scientific experiment to prove or disprove it? Not by banners & slogans. 1/
For Science one must define a clear testable hypotheses then setup experiments to prove or disprove it.

One experiment:

Take 100 meditators and divide into two groups. Have one group eat during eclipse and then meditate, and the other fast and meditate. Record experiences. 2
Science is getting to very preliminary understanding of changes in brain function during meditation. So meditators could be hooked up to EEG and theta waves measured in the two groups.

This is just one idea for scientific study of the eclipse-hypothesis.

But these “pro-science” activists are incapable of science. They’ve turned scientific enquiry religious bigotry and sloganeering, completely closed to investigating phenomena.

They’re like a Church crusading against “heresy” rather than pursuing an enquiry. 😏

Indian traditions go far deeper—western science even scoffed at mind-body link fifty years ago. But West is learning fast (and copying from ancient Indian traditions like dhyana and pranayama).

Meanwhile Indian “rationalists” are stuck in prejudices of 19th century Europe.
There is no “God.” Don’t confuse Indic traditions and their experience of consciousness, of Sat-Chit-Ananda, with the absurd Abrahamic concept of “God.”

“God exists”?

Can you give me one line from any ancient Indian text which makes this statement? What is this “God” you are talking about?

Whatever exists, exists in time, and is perishable. Is that what your "God" is like?

Go beyond this silliness. Everything is Brahman, consciousness, Shiva is all there is. "Does God exist" is an ignorant question arising in an Abrahamic-God culture.

"Who are you?" Who is it that is asking? What is the nature of consciousness? These are interesting questions with rich debates in the Indic traditions.

The Western secular-atheist-Christian debate on the Abrahamic god is like debating pink elephants riding bicycles. Who cares?
Yes, every institution is engineered for top-down control of the people. From agriculture university to the medical system to the colonial state and court system. Completely disconnected from the people.
