Waist what?

Abeg, waist trainers will NEVER give you a flat belly, same as sit-ups and slimming teas will NOT make your belly flat

There is no short cut to a flat belly, it takes work, lots of work, belly fat is very difficult to lose

Don't let "beauty experts" scam you
The body stores energy as fat, if you take more than you need, it stores the excess

If you use more than you take in, your body breaks down the fat.

It is simple logic, yet Mama Nkechi has made you believe that if you tie rope around your waist, your belly will burn the fat
We fall for it because losing the fat means we have to work and we are generally a lazy species, we hate work

So we fall for quick fixes that generally do not work.

It also takes patience, take less calories, burn more, then see your dream body emerge,

Be patient
Waist trainers can actually worsen heartburn and are really uncomfortable, if used for long, they may damage internal organs

Some people will still come and argue that it works.

That is how ideas like this spread, anecdoctal evidence, no scientific proof whatsoever
As for sit-ups, the idea that sit-ups lose belly fat started with the idea that if you focus on a particular area, you will lose the fat in that area. This is false. They will tone your abdominal muscles, but if your muscles are under layers of fat. It won't work
The solution: if you're serious about losing weight this year, cut out high calorie meals.

Cakes, soda, junk food. Combine that with exercise, make sure to check with your doctor to find out what your body can handle. Then start.

Do it often
