3 Rockets have targeted Balad Airbase, north of #Baghdad, #US forces are based there.

Appears to be dual attack. 2 rockets reportedly fired towards the #US Embassy in the Green Zone, #Baghdad and the secondary attack against Balad Airbase. #Iraq

Correction: 1 rocket towards the Embassy, another landed elsewhere, mixed reports on the other locations at the moment.

Balad is targeted regularly, this is worth noting.

The rocket that landed in #Baghdad appears to have stuck a house were 3 people are reportedly injured.

4 “Katyusha” rockets were fired towards Balad Airbase. Initial reports suggest no damage. Will update accordingly.

(Katyusha is in quotes because every rocket launched at the moment is reported as katyusha)

Two rockets fell inside Balad Air Base in the housing area, no casualities reported according to reports.

5 people however were injured due to the rocket landing in the Al-Jadriya neighborhood in #Baghdad.

4 rockets confirmed, 3 at Balad Airbase and 1 at Central #Baghdad.

Kata’ib #Hezbollah, according to @AlMayadeenLive have requested that secuirty agencies in #Iraq stay at least 1000 meters away from #US bases starting from tomorrow evening.

General thought on the Kata’ib #Hezbollah announcement. Doesn’t mean the attacks will start tomorrow. I mean, they might, but it removes the element of surprise right? and attacks are meant to be surprising.

Update: the reported airstrike on the #PMF position on the border seems to be “confirmed” but nothing else regards to the reported deaths.

Katab’ib #Hezbollah have issued a warning to the #Iraq|i parliment speaker that they will be watching the decision on the #US presence in #Iraq closely.
