'Ambi wokes' and their desperation to clamber on the moral high horse is becoming a burlesque act by the minute.

But look at some of the terminology used. 'Mylapore playbook'. 'கொண்டை'. There is also the regular jargon like 'Bromins', 'அவா', which are essentially patois created by those who are not Brahmins. As phraseologies, even used as a pejorative, they are not problematic.
But hen 'Ambi wokes' dip into them they become importunate Morse code for: "see we are not 'them', so we better get some brownie points for our efforts". Which, I presume, they encash at the teller for these things.
It also seems an insidious cultural appropriation. For, Mylapore maamas, அவா are part of the vocabulary churned out by non-அவாs, as it were. It is bad form from'Ambi wokes', sticklers for propriety, as they are the self-anointed HOD-s at the University of Political Correctness.
I reiterate am not against these 'Ambi Wokes' indulging in self-criticism of the community. But when they zealously and continuously make use of the cant created by others they are just trying to show off that they are 'others'. It's the basest form of virtue-signalling.
There are ways to reassure other communities & also try to usher in needed changes in your own community (even if you don't personally subscribe to such classifications). Illuminatingly, no other self-critical upper caste folks elsewhere assiduously pounce on such a language.
They just fall back on Savarnas, privileged UCs. But our 'Ambi Wokes' feel the need for a different lingo because they are just grandstanding. A performative act for imagined applause. Only when you pose as somebody you will feel the need for somebody else's words. Elementary!
The truth is our 'Ambi Wokes' are essentially trying to inveigle themselves into the good books of 'others' (for the sake of buddy-buddy social acceptance. (End of rant.)
