On the plane with @ibrahimjackson ... he got the lucky upgrade. Offers it to me (that's kind) but no way I'm taking. The ZZ- (nail to the wing, non upgradeable) ticket class gives me a chance for a good moan about shitclass travel. It's a short flight, so I don't actually mind.
... being a Brit then I love a good moan ... size of the queue, the weather, the lack of a decent cup of tea. This Delta / Virgin flight is actually pretty good, even in economy there is leg room which is quite surprising.
I.e. it's not one of those eleven hour knees buttressed up against the seat which is reclined to be in your face so the screen is 35mm away at an odd angle whilst your neighbours elbows blitzkrieg your waist experiences. This is actually quite humane. Well done Delta / Virgin
