There was a time I would trust aspects of UK mainstream, that has long gone. I factcheck BBC news as much as I factcheck RT (Russia Today). Neither sources I trust. Of course that's the point, modern poltical games designed to deprive you of good information sources.

... when it gets to the point that you're praising sky news for holding the Gov to account more than the BBC ... then you know that trust is firmly broken.
