If you officiate weddings and you're not a clergy member, good news. The Va Senate voted 21-18 to let you give yourself a $25 raise so you can charge up to $75 for the ceremony rather than $50 (still also allowed to charge for "additional services" and travel expenses)

Virginia House votes 100-0 to extend deadline for absentee ballots to count from current requirement ballot must arrive by close of polls to requirement it be postmarked on time and arrive by noon Friday after elections
