1/ Why were some people feeling happy about Brexit yesterday? Reporters roved the streets & pubs of the country yesterday to try & find out.

2/ One of these women was looking forward to "getting our own lives back". Another expected Brexit to bring new "freedom" and also that it would "get our industry back".
3/ One of these women was pleased we'd no longer be ruled by "an EU state". The other was thrilled to "get our country back" from oppressive "rules", but couldn't think what these might be. Her companion suggested these were imposed by German courts.
4/ This chap welcomed Brexit because he wanted a "big, big change" and "we need our infrastructure back". He couldn't say how the EU had stymied our infrastructure, but was sure that "we've suffered for 40 years".
5/ Hard to say what these guys liked about Brexit, other than the licence they seemed to think it gave them to shout obscenities about Jeremy Corbyn & the Pope.
6/ We are not calling any of these people #thick. But (since Piers Morgan asks) we think they've been systematically misinformed by a thoroughly dishonest media & that they will be very much disappointed when Brexit fails to deliver on their hopes.
