Lots of accounts (some of which look like Putinbots & far-right trolls) are outraged that the Brexit Party & the Nazi Party should be mentioned in the same tweet.

Let's not forget Nigel Farage's long history of racism & association with the far right. 1/

So, just to preface this. I won't be talking much about Brexit here. The reason being - it's been done. To death. And to the detriment of debate about how dangerous Farage actually is, and what he actually believes. We'll touch on it, but it ain't front row centre.
It's hard to know where to start with Farage, frankly. After doing the research that I have on him, it's stunning to think that he's the favourite for the European Elections. Sorry, stunning? I meant horrifying. But let's start with the young Farage, and work our way from there.

1. Every day I awaken hoping MPs would just once challenge the validity of a #Brexit that Robs us of Rights & makes us Poorer based on a non-Binding result the votes of only 25.6% of the Ppl, 37% voters & 51.8% of those voting..many of whom now regret it.
But no it's the same old
2. Autocrats of Right & Left more interested in imposing their wills on the Ppl than the current Will of the Ppl, deny us a #PeoplesVote & a #FinalSay with a #Remain option, on the basis it would undermine democracy, disillusion voters & fuel the Far Right. So #Brexit must happen
3. I repeat...the result was non-Binding & backed by only 26.5% of the Ppl 37% voters. But also these 'Democrats' don't just deny a #PeoplesVote ..they choose to ignore the flawed & probably illegal basis upon which the Ref was based. Cambridge Analytica, Foreign interference etc

The seems to be a weird disconnect in Labour & it's commentators

They'll protest about a certain recent visit & about far right supporters of Robinson

But not Brexit
2) this is plain bizarre. Brexit, nationalism, alt right, authoritarian gov. - it's all connected, it's all part of the same fascist beast.
Protesting about bits of it is like saying "I don't like the look of that Lion's paws but I'm perfectly happy with my head in its mouth"
3) as successive Tory PMs have learned over & over, you can't placate far righters - populists & zealots don't do compromise, any olive branch is a sign of weakness.

Labour party position on #Brexit is exactly that kind of appeasement
