I like to travel with less no. of luggage. As a matter of habit, I keep my sling-bag in my rucksack too.
Today as soon as we boarded, kiddo wanted headphones. I took out my bag which had the 🎧 & stacked my rucksack in the overhead bin.
(Big mistake)

I kept my small sling bag under my seat. Trying to put it in the overhead bin meant holding up passengers again, who were still boarding.
I slept through most of the flight time, woke up at touchdown, grabbed my luggage from the overhead bin & got off.

It was only when I reached home from the airport that I realised that my sling bag was left in the aircraft.
The panic attack was real for a moment.
I was so much in shock that I tried reaching Indigo helpline number on GPS, Mobile banking & KeepFit apps😂

It took me a few moments to gather myself & I called my dear friend @bongaviator. He promised me that he'd look into the thing from his end.
But within seconds of disconnecting his call, someone by the name Tushar called me & identified himself as @IndiGo6E staff.

He asked me if I had lost my bag. When I confirmed that, the first thing he said was, "Chinta mat kijiye. Aapka bag sahi hai. Aap aake le k jaiye!"
I couldn't believe my ears.
I also managed to get in touch with the @IndiGo6E security manager, who coordinated the whole thing

The Security Officer confirmed over phone that their man, Tushar Bhonsle, had found my bag.
My mind was still racing. I had almost ₹10k cash, my credit/debit cards, my ID proofs & my mom's gold chain, which is not just costly but of huge emotional value to me.

I drove back to the airport & connected back with @IndiGo6E.
The support & assistance I received from the @IndiGo6E staff are really commendable.
By then, @bongaviator had guided me about the procedure, but Tushar definitely made it look like a cakewalk.

I got back my bag with all my valuables in it.
I learnt that they hadn't even checked my bag.
"How did you reach me?" I asked
"It was under 1E. So I just checked from the system!"
Tushar's ans was simple, but proved that @IndiGo6E means business & cares about its passengers.

Thank you @IndiGo6E for making this such a pleasant experience for me.
Yes, it was a mistake to leave the bag behind. I'm a frequent flyer & this had never happened before.
But thanks to you & your #6ESpirit, for ensuring safety of my belongings.
