If your instinct is to fix someone’s tweet with the part they forgot or the part that wasn’t quite precisely exactly the way you would have written it maybe just write your own tweet, and notice how 270 characters prevents encapsulating every detail of any issue being discussed.
Likewise if your instinct is to make a pedantic “correction” to a minor piece of a point that you agree with, please realize you are more exhausting than you can possibly know.
For example: if someone refers to someone’s scummy action being “scummy,” telling that person that they are “not being fair to scum” is not clever or original.

Anybody with more than say 2000 followers gets so much of this (and if you're not a white dude, as I am, much much much more than me) that it's all noise.
