@realDonaldTrump made his money in NYC commercial real estate (arguably the most cutthroat industry in the world) and got his PR experience in-
He "gets it" in terms of brand, selling and being in the public eye as a matter of business.
Bloomberg, on the other hand, made his money in financial news & tech.
Have you ever seen an ad for a Bloomberg terminal?
Investors really only care about good analysis & tech, unlike other companies that have to focus on glitzy ads & branding.
That's why his ads are terrible- he's used to just selling straight info, no chaser.
His lack of personality may have been enough to get him NYC mayor, but it will be an enormous detriment when juxtaposed against Trump...
