Good news - my kids remember me. Now, let's get back to the New Hampshire Primary results.

Looking at the GOP side, it looks like several notable things happened on Tuesday night 1/
First, President Trump had a much larger than normal turnout for an incumbent running for re-election, as he won over 129,000 votes.

Obama - 49,000+ in 2012
George W. Bush - 54,000 in 2004
Bill Clinton - 76,800 in 1996 2/
Trump's percentage is 85.6%, higher than Obama's 81%, Bush's 79.6%, and Clinton's 84.4%.

BUT, the over 9 percent received by William Weld is by far the largest vote for one opponent in those same type of elections 3/
Weld received 13,787 votes - far more in terms of numbers and percentage than anyone in the Obama-2012, Bush-2004, Clinton-1996 primary years.

Obama 2012 - Ron Paul 3.77%
Bush 2004 - John Kerry 4.17%
Clinton 1996 - Pat Buchanan 3.68% 4/

Warren doing very little to make the case for herself as a candidate for President in this debate. Her game plan seems to simply be attacking Bloomberg.
Sanders gets heckled a bit from the crowd as he talks about his stance on Castro and Cuba.

"Really? Really?" Sanders responds.
Buttigieg lands another couple of jabs at Sanders in talking about 'the bright side of the Castro regime.'

Sanders raising his voice, Buttigieg talking over him. Transcript will simply say "CROSSTALK"

Sanders joins Warren in getting heckled and booed by some in the crowd, as Sanders jabs at Bloomberg
With that long answer before the first break, Warren almost seemed to run interference for Sanders.
I wish we had no audience for a debate, but that's not the way they work. Still, it is notable that the biggest negative reactions tonight from the crowd have been for Sanders and Warren.

1/At a strategy level, most important thing DNC can do now is shine a light on the New Hampshire primary and the candidates running there. Need to do everything to make the process/Iowa story go away and make it all about the very competitive race for President Dems now have.
2/Would start by appointing a small commission to look into what happened and report back to the DNC executive committee in 30 days. Team at DNC has to look forward, not back. Let others look into what happened, promise full transparency of final report.
3/Discussions have to be made about whether to even release the Iowa results at this point. Keeps the story going, and if there are any doubts would be better to spike the whole thing that keep this debacle in front of the public any longer.

Good morning! Today the House Oversight Committee will hold a hearing on "The Trump Administration’s Child Separation Policy: Substantiated Allegations of Mistreatment." I'll be livetweeting parts of the hearing (from 10AM-12PM).

Today's hearing is broken into two panels. Up first will be four members of Congress themselves testifying about what they witnessed firsthand at the border on a recent trip: Representatives @AOC, @RepEscobar, @RashidaTlaib, and @AyannaPressley.
The second panel includes both government and non-government witnesses. Members will hear from Jennifer Costello, Acting DHS Inspector General, Ann Maxwell, Assistant IG for HHS, Columbia Law's Elora Mukherjee, @youngcenter's Jennifer Nagda, and former ICE Director Thomas Homan.

lol you've been one of the least correct out of everyone this entire time. It's time to admit it. Mueller was never hand picked by Donald Trump to take down Hillary Clinton and every single day (including today) said the witch hunt was illegal and should have never happened
I think I'll listen to the President myself. He said that it was an illegal takedown that failed. He didn't praise Mueller for helping him stop Hillary Clinton like they always planned together. realclearpolitics.com/video/2019/03/…

Trump at the airport: "After a long investigation, after so many people have been so badly hurt, after not looking at the other side, where a lot of bad things happened, a lot of horrible things happened...it was just announced there was no collusion with Russia."
Trump: "There was no obstruction, and none whatsoever. And it was a complete and total exoneration." Again, Mueller himself said explicitly that he didn't exonerate Trump on obstruction.
Trump continued his attacks on the Mueller probe even while hailing its apparent findings: "It began illegally. And hopefully somebody's going to look at the other side. This was an illegal takedown that failed. And hopefully somebody's going to be looking at the other side."
