Pompeo's conduct grabbed headlines last month after he shouted and cursed at an NPR reporter who had questioned him about the Trump administration's Ukraine dealings. He then dropped the reporter from the press pool accompanying him on a trip to Europe. npr.org/2020/01/28/800…
But reports of abusive conduct go back further than that. Pompeo was reportedly “a bully to subordinates” while serving as CIA director. His behavior and “fits of ‘anger’” had even driven some employees “to quit or seek new assignments.”
