This morning's 22 in #DC tied for the coldest of winter. Here it is compared to the minimums in all other winters in the modern record. 
Here this is in chronological order and with some more recent dates called out. The call outs on the first were for the next in line behind 22 and the coldest winter high.
The first was an attempt to show in a less cluttered way but the movement on the x-axis may unintentionally portray a trend. Was not the plan.
And, also.. no winter is not over. The 30-year average for coldest temperature to come is 20 degrees (which would still be the warmest low on record for winter). There is some chance late week... after that it's gonna take luck.
