For those playing along at home:

- Trump's campaign manager, deputy campaign manager and longtime personal lawyer are in jail.

- The first two congressmen to endorse Trump in 2016 are convicted felons.

- And Trump's longtime adviser and friend was just sentenced to 3+ years 👇
At least two of these people were convicted and sentenced for crimes committed on Trump's behalf:

Cohen: Confessed to committing campaign finance violations "in coordination with and at the direction of" President Trump

Stone: Was "prosecuted for covering up for the president."
This gets at the core of why Trump feels like the justice system is unfair. He sees his friends and confidants going to jail and gets mad because he feels like they were unfairly targeted.

In reality, his friends are criminals, and he doesn't think justice should apply to them.

India is home to the largest portfolio of Trump real estate projects outside North America.
One of Trump's business partners is accused of massive fraud, while another is facing a funding crunch. Both of them have close ties to India’s ruling party, headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Don Jr. pushed a "blatantly illegal" project in India, according to a former official.

The project in Mumbai had its permits revoked after investigators found “significant irregularities.” Then Trump Jr. travelled to India to get the decision overruled. propublica.org/article/trump-…

The Uranium One deal did not result in 20% of US uranium being sold, and it was approved by multiple US govt agencies.
The money the Clinton Foundation received did not come from Russia, and the bulk of it ($131 million) came from a Canadian who sold his stake in Uranium One a year and a half before Clinton even became Secretary of State

All right let's do this: Sleight of hand #1: Dersh says he will analyze why the Framers chose the words they did as "the sole criteria for impeachment."

Nope, nothing in the doc says "SOLE CRITERIA." That's a trick he learned from FedSoc, requiring textual fealty.
Sleight #2: Dersh is saying that you need a stated crime. That's the opposite of the position he's taken his whole career until five seconds ago.
Sleight #3: His throwing out a lot of things that sound like historical "fact" to establish his credibility. He's trying to make the Senators think that he is smarter and more learned than they.

Almost every "fact" he's stated thus far, is irrelevant.

Hello from the DC federal courthouse, where jury selection continues for Roger Stone's trial (it's not being piped into the media room, so no live updates). The scene outside the courthouse is quiet right now, but there is ~ this ~:

@DevinNunes @RepAdamSchiff For those playing along at home: it appears that McGuire substituted his definition of "urgent" for the IG's definition (which he's not allowed to do). And then he's arguing that there was an exec priv issue, but @RepAdamSchiff just made him admit that the WH never asserted it.
@DevinNunes @RepAdamSchiff Schiff is establishing that McGuire went to the white house first. Not the DOJ, and clearly not Congress.

After trying to avoid saying "we went to the White House, first," Schiff got him to say "we went to the white house first" by feigning confusion. Schiff is a clever clogs

I feel like I need to write this down. Yesterday was an... odd day for me.

Yesterday was the day that I discovered that, deep under multiple layers,
Google Translate appears to have, at its heart... a murderous psychopath.

Let me begin at the beginning.
It began innocently enough, with searching for some new music on Google Play. One of the songs that came up in the rotation on one of the playlists (Alternative Hotlist, or something similar) was "Love Runs Out", by One Republic:
I'd heard the song several times before, but there was always something about the beginning of it, that super-heavy percussive beat, that reminded me of something else, but I could never quite place it.

It ALMOST seemed to match something in my memory, before the vocals kick in.
