Saskatchewan Immigration Nominee Program (SINP)
at a glance. A thread.
SINP has been around for 2 decades (I was surprised too) It is one of the most famous provincial nominations for permanent residence in Canada, it entails applicants to score a minimum of 60 out of 100

possible points.SINP became more popular when family sponsorship was added to the scheme. To get into SINP, you have two routes
1. SINP OID: Occupation in demand (Paper route) this takes nothing less than 12 months or more to achieve PR
2. SINP Express Entry: From 6 months upward

With SINP, there are electronic-based (It gets rerouted back to cic.gc.ca for final approval) your EE profile number is required whereby once nominated you will be required to update your EE profile to be bolstered with additional 600 points.
With SINP,there are

occupations in demand and there are occupations in need based on statistics released and required in the province. You will be required to create an EOI (expression of interest)where you will be required to input all required data of yours which accumulates points
* Age

* Highest qualification (Requires ECA)
* Work experience in the last 5 before application and the last 10 years before application
* There are additional points for schooling, working and having a close relation in Saskatchewan.
The last draw saw 70pts been the lowest ranking

score of nominated candidates. At this stage, the sky will start becoming blue, and your documentation scrutinization begins (provincial level) once you scale through this stage, you will receive ITA (invitation to apply) we call it CERTIFICATE, with this you are 45% in Canada

Don't forget during the scrutinizing of your documents, negative news can pop up, don't get deterred it is a learning curve. Some of which includes:
1. Certificate does not match career - This is one of the biggest mistakes of many applicants in SINP, take for example, if you

studied safety management, your work experience needs to be in OHS and your chosen NOC should be 2263. Do not mismatch. (A round peg in a squared peg)and please make sure your job functions toe the line of NOC 2016 version noc.esdc.gc.ca and when requesting for reference

letter from work PLEASE make sure the duties are aligned with what the NOC requires, examples are clearly outlined on the above link ( Do not copy word for word o)
2. Proof of fund palava: There are PoFs that are acceptable and there are those that are not acceptable

3. Non-complying ECA report: Please be advised that there are two types of ECA reports
A. Academic ECA report
B. Immigration ECA report
"If" you are applying for SINP please go for #B

4. Medical/Criminal inadmissibility: At this stage, the province can not determine where you belong and they don't have the capability and power, but CIC has the capability, and it can be used to overrule the decision of ANY province initial nomination.(Reason applicants need

to keep healthy and perform regular check-ups)
5. Inability to proof relationship in Saskatchewan: The only legally required document I can relate to is Nigerian Population Commission's attestation of birth (In there it shows sponsor's parent names which will be used to trace

yours (Please make sure you draw up family tree that connects you both to each other) other documents like
birth cert
marriage cert
proof of PR/Citizenship
Proof of living in Sask for last 6 months ( Utility bill, health card and etc, please see the previous link)

Once you scale this part then you are 60% in Canada save for :
1. PoF
2. Medical
3. Any other unconvincing documents/translation.
Please ensure that any document that needs to be notarized is either done by a public notary or a high ranking public servant to avoid unnecessary

delay to your application, once an applicant has any ADR it takes approximately 90 days to be realigned again.
