If the president embraces conspiracy theories while repeatedly and baselessly undermining his own national security officials—denying their threat assessments simply because they are inconvenient or detrimental to his ego—then is the president himself a national security threat?
I'm not trying to be provocative. I honestly don't understand why this isn't something everyone would agree on.
Trump still does not accept that Russia interfered in the 2016 elections. He brought up conspiracy theories in his call with Zelensky that his own intel team debunked. He fired his acting DNI for giving an honest assessment to Congress about the enduring threat from Russia.
