ENJOY THE BURN

Engaging in something is a commitment to changing ourselves, to burn our habitual patterns in order to allow our deepest, finest selves to fully unfold and express itself.
That each of us have the potential in this life(time) to change deeply is a precious gift. Don’t allow anything or anyone to take that away from you.
This life is much more than having this or that. Life is about discovering something in our hearts.
As you unfold, people & opportunities may walk into your life, some of which appealing. Though most often, it is a distraction.
Most often it is a manifestation of a particular limited level or pattern in you, that if you engage it, entangles you in that level again.
Beware of the choices you make. the choice to get entangled in the distractions, or to stay with your commitment to keep the inner working going to burn up each level.
You have the potential to burn those tensions from desire & in doing so — you live not of need and desires, but of awareness.
For most of us, that is only going to happen, if we sit long enough on our butts that we learn to endure the burning, that we even learn to enjoy the burn.
