You neglect to mention that Dr. Cohen is "Bloomberg Professor of Disease Prevention at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health." That is how she is described on the Hopkins website. Why leave out the Bloomberg designations? #justsaying
You have this disclaimer in the piece: "The Bureau’s Smoke Screen project, scrutinizing the tobacco industry which kills millions a year, is funded by an NGO, Vital Strategies, which is in turn funded by Bloomberg Philanthropies."

Seriously? Your biased long-read hit piece on IQOS is straight out of the Bloomberg/Matt Myers anti-tobacco harm reduction playbook: Promoting junk scientist Dr Reto Auer & quoting the always scaremongering Myers about the "kids." @CaveTamasin @madlendavies
IQOS is tobacco harm reduction. It is dramatically safer to use than, oh say, a Marlboro. Okay, pile on Marlboro. But your piece doesn't say anything positive about IQOS or heat-not-burn technology. IQOS is saving smokers lives around the world.
In Japan, tobacco cigarette sales declined 12% in 2018, largely due to sales of reduced-risk products. The dominant reduced-risk product in Japan is IQOS. Millions of Japanese smokers have switched. Why not examine this unprecedented drop in smoking in your piece?
The FDA authorized IQOS for sale in the US. It's available in Atlanta & Richmond. Incredible, right, that the FDA authorized the sale of IQOS in the US & they hate PMI? Why not report that? I think I know why @VitalStrat @MikeBloomberg but correct me if I'm wrong.
