John Roberts is leading a partisan Supreme Court majority put in place when Senate Republicans stole a seat on the court. GOP donors’ interests are 73-0 in 5/4 decisions with Roberts as chief justice.

Act like a partisan, get treated like one.

I don't remember John Roberts getting all offended at Clarence Thomas' wife running around trying to purge the government of people who aren't loyal to Trump while Thomas hears cases involving Trump.

Good for @SenSchumer, by the way. This is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

More like this, please.

I don’t remember John Roberts issuing a statement condemning the GOP’s “dangerous” theft of a Court seat, probably because that theft gave him an activist conservative majority and he’s a partisan hack.

He chose his path, and that path has consequences.

John Roberts is a partisan, his outrage is fake and partisan, the selective nature of it is evidence of that, and reporters should cover his statement accordingly.

John Roberts cast the deciding vote in striking down the Voting Rights Act, because he is a partisan Republican who shares his party’s preference for making it hard for black people to vote. Not really interested in lectures from him about what’s “dangerous” in a democracy.
Nah. Whatever you think of Schumer’s statement, Roberts’ condemnation is not appropriate if it is one-sided. Condemning Schumer, but not Trump last week, is the opposite of “impartial,” and is therefore inappropriate for a judge. It is a partisan act.

Every reporter who covers the Supreme Court knows that John Roberts was silent in the face of Trump’s attacks on Sotomayor & RBG last week.

The honest ones will make that a central part of their coverage of Roberts’ criticism of Schumer.
starting to think maybe John Roberts is a partisan

Hey I have an idea.

What if we decided we’ve had enough of decades of Republican efforts to seize control of the judiciary, including the theft of a Supreme Court seat?

And what if we fought for expansion to make SCOTUS more representative of all Americans, not just the GOP?
Why?

Because Chief Justice John Roberts is a partisan Republican, leading a partisan Republican Supreme Court majority that was put in place by Republican theft of a court seat. And until we change that, they’ll have veto power over everything we want.

Hi, Senator. I can’t help noticing you didn’t send a tweet like this when your buddy Trump attacked two Supreme Court justices last week.

Can’t fix problems if you don’t acknowledge they exist. This is a great start.

You ended your tweet with a statement that is as much of a threat as anything Schumer said, dumbass.
