1/3. From an anonymous source from a Lombardy hospital: "There is an impressive number of seriously ill patients, we can't keep up. We're short of oxygen attacks, ventilators and physicians. Many colleagues [physicians] have coronavirus-induced interstitial pneumonia"
2/3."We can't cure everyone if cases continue to increase". I am not sharing to create panic, but to raise awareness. We heard similar stories from Whaun. This is closer, and feels more real. Also, I am not sure neglect is better than panic/concern in these situations.
3/3. Am I worried as an individual person? No. Little is going to happen to me directly. As someone who works with health data and someone whose family and friends are trapped at the centre of a major outbreak, I am concerned.
