I did the math on my Flight of the Navigator rewatch and I averaged a standard shot of whiskey every half hour, though I didn't drink it as shots.
I guess my rate was a bit slower on the second half because I drank about the same amount of whiskey but I started an hour before the movie started.
If this becomes an ongoing thing I might try to standardize it a bit, and possibly do two actual shots at the start to get things rolling. I feel like the first day was more powerful because I was actually more inebriated.
Granted, I don't expect to process the same depth or power of emotions as I did in the first night of my Flight of the Navigator rewatch.
Ooh. The Sorcerer's Apprentice is coming to D+ in October. I actually liked that movie.
Anyway. I'll keep doing this thing as long as it remains fun for me and as long as it brings in some money. It's a good stress relief.
