🤯Sacramento California just announced no quarantines for contacts of #COVID19, on the same day that @WHO said "Allowing uncontrolled spread should not be a choice of any government, as it will harm not only the citizens of that country but affect other countries as well."
To be clear, this puts older adults & people w/common conditions like diabetes & asthma at risk. It puts the health system that serves all of at risk. This debate about containment vs mitigation makes no sense. It's a gradient.

"Don't touch your face" is stupid advice, just like "don't open suspicious attachments" or "don't click on suspicious links in emails". Email is designed to have attachments and links, asking people to not use the product as designed is nonsense.
This video went viral (sic) of a health official advising people to not touch their face as she, and the people behind her, touch their faces. People are going to click on email links and touch their faces.

As stated before:

Finally authorities are putting Mazandaran province on quarantine: only fuel and food trucks are allowed. This late, its effectiveness will be limited.

The same authorities have had argued for quarantine to be "non-scientific" and "from middle ages".
