Something I’ve noticed about myself in the past and again in this #coronavirus reality that maybe some others who deal with anxiety can relate to. My anxiety has always been free floating and usually flares up about nothing or something very minor.

A short thread...
But when it comes to real life, serious situations, I become very practical and rational in my thinking and preparing. Obviously that’s something that has helped me immensely in my line of work, but I find it fascinating.
That said, this kind of thing will trigger a lot of different emotions and reactions in people. We talk a lot about mental health awareness and the importance of listening; this is a good time to do that. Don’t minimize people being freaked.
And if you are, talk to someone. Anyone. My DMs are always open. Stress and anxiety shouldn’t be minimized anymore than preparations for this challenge should be.
