Depending on what COBRA decides, Britain could increasingly look like the outlier by the end of the day...
And- unless things change with COBRA, a different regime and approach to coronavirus at work in Northern Ireland and the Republic.
Question must be- if the government is following only scientific advice, why are so many other governments doing something different? Presumably they have scientific advice too and at least some are following it. Is their advice different? If so why?
It could well be in the months to come, we look back and praise the govt for keeping a cool head, that Britain's response was unusual but outstanding.
Or, we might not. If the differences in response between states persist, we have, in effect, a v real experiment on our hands.
