How about bailing out business after helping the people most vulnerable to getting seriously ill: the poor elderly, low income people who can’t stay home from work, people without medical insurance who fear getting tested. I can think of no better argument for Medicare for All /1
than if the GOP’s first response to a national health crisis is to throw money at their corporate buddies. This is like the Great Recession again - bailing out politically-connected companies rather than the people affected. This will create a groundswell for national health /2
insurance on the left and center, because people will think the GOP’s first instinct in a crisis is bail out their donor class. END
