The range of possible futures ahead of us is vertigo-inducing. I can imagine a world where we lock down and manage to flatten the curve and get a handle on things in a few weeks and take it from there and a world where this is something we live with for a year.
I think there’s data and expertise to support both, though bulk of public health experts are more in the latter camp.
