The testing bottleneck *continues* to cause huge problems in the US response.
Right now tests are still being rationed, which means we still don't have them available for asymptomatic healthcare workers who may have been exposed to the virus. So we're just taking them offline!
I've talked to ER docs who have colleagues not working because they have to self-isolate. Governor Lamont told me tonight that ***200 hundred*** nurses in CT are on "furlough" because they may have been exposed, but can't get tested. This is madness!
If there is ONE LESSON from Wuhan and Lombardy it's that the virus takes out frontline healthcare workers which then *exacerbates* the crunch. We need to be able to test these people. Have to.
