The first sketch of Wonder Woman was made by artist H.G. Peter in 1941. It stayed pretty much unchanged in her debut in All Star Comics #11.
Creator William M. Marston was inspired by the bracelets worn by Olive Byrne, who lived with him and his wife. As well as the Varga Girls in Esquire magazine for their “cosmopolitanism”.
