I once had a consultation with Comprehensive Spine & Pain Physicians in Burbank and they never took me off their mailing list.

Do you want to know how I know?

I know because they recently installed @prognocis's contact management system. While configuring it, they sent an erroneous test message to everyone on that mailing list, which is to say, everyone who ever had even glancing contact with the practice.

What's more, they've configured their CRM to accept - and broadcast - emails from ANYONE. So when any of the other unfortunates who got this fatfinger email replies to the botched message, it goes to all of us.

And pain clinic patients skew to the, uh, constitutionally less technically inclined.

So a few of them replied saying, "WHY AM I GETTING THIS EMAIL GET ME OFF THIS EMAIL." Then a bunch more replied saying "STOP SENDING EMAIL WHY ARE YOU SENDING EMAIL."

Now they're sending "I WILL SUE YOU FOR SENDING ME EMAIL" messages. Each and every one of these goes to each and every one of us, and prompts a fresh round of aggravated responses.

It's been barely a decade since the USG bailed out big businesses and the fact that we're here again reveals some of the glaring failures in the last bailout. Any new bailout should correct those errors by putting restrictions on bailed-out companies.

Automation-based unemployment has always been overhyped. Any work that robots take over merely frees up human workers for the 2-300 year project of climate remediation, including relocating every coastal city in the world.

But automation is also vastly overhyped. Take the oft-repeated claim that "truck driver" is the most common job in America, and first in line to be automated. It's just wrong.

First, because the BLS "truck driver" category includes long-haul truckers, delivery drivers, couriers, and dozens of other subprofessions, most of which are far, far away from being automatable.

We now have details. Memos 1 & 3 were classified by Comey. He never took home copies of 1, 3, & 5.
He released 2, 4, 6 and a redacted version of 7.
After Comey left, the FBI classified small amounts of information in Memos 2 & 7 in June of 2017. SO he leaked the memos (1 redacted) before they were classified.

So we get to Hillary's 1st alibi, they weren't classified at the time!

OK, I decided to build this and try to make a living off it:

An end-2-end encrypted serverless platform for web/mobile apps, offering user auth, db, & file store services. The end user gets privacy. The app developer gets spared from the liability & burden of handling user data.
Neither the app developer, nor me (the platform) will be able to see any user data. (Same as what @1Password does.) This also means automatic GDPR compliance for the app developer. I'll share a lot more technical and business details in a few days. I'll also open source it. ✌️
