Since posting this tweet, Axios deleted the embedded post to clarify that the couple confused the anti-malaria drug w/ the additive used to clean fish tanks.

The wife told NBC later that day they were motivated by Trump's touting chloroquine, mixing up the cleaner with the drug.

That big company, according to this story, was named Covidien, which later got swallowed up by @Medtronic. 🔽
The @CourthouseNews database shows that Covidien was sued dozens of times for racketeering in the national prescription opioid litigation, as the ex-parent company of manufacturer Mallinckrodt.

One complaint quoted Covidien's “Opioid
Safe Use and Handling Guide" like this.
Medtronic's website still lists Covidien products, including the ventilators that Covidien acquired by swallowing up Newport.

Newport is the company that was going to replenish the U.S. stockpile of ventilators before Covidien acquired it, per the NYT. medtronic.com/covidien/en-us…

Trump objects to a requirement for the council of IGs' chair to consult with Congress members on selecting certain roles for the Pandemic Response Accountability Cmte.

Claiming that violates separation of powers, Trump will treat that "as hortatory but not mandatory."
Another clause appoints a Special Inspector General for Pandemic Recovery to manage audits and investigations.

If agencies stonewall, that IG must report to the Congress "without delay."

Trump claims this requires "presidential supervision."

GM wrote in a statement today that it would take to deliver the first ventilators next month, at a rate of 10,000/month. New York alone says it needs 40,000.

Far from clear from @GM's release:

* When next month is the first delivery of ventilators expected?
* Will that date arrive before N.Y.'s expected apex of infection?
* Where are they are going?
* How will they be distributed?

My colleague @BBuchman_CNS is on the story.
Clarification: GM plans to "ramp up" to a rate of 10K ventilators a month.

Unclear how many are arriving and to where in the batch expected to be delivered sometime in April.

It wasn't prescribed. I can't find the dosage they took. They could have drank a 10g bottle of aquarium cleaner for all I know.

Nonetheless, the left blames Trump. They are loathsome evil people.

Chloroquine phosphate is not hydroxychloroquine.
Hydroxychloroquine is the less toxic of the two. They took the more toxic. I still can't find at what dose.

The following days since winning the student council electing and being sworn into the tresorial seat were amazing. Jaemin felt a little more powerful than he already was.
A lot of his juniors would always greet him every time he passes by, but the number of them drastically increased in just a short amount of time.
