Let me unpack this, because the evolution of new genes is very cool. 1/n
Most of our genomes is not made of genes. A lot of it is “junk”—repetitive sequences with no function.
Sometimes mutations can cause these “non-coding” sequences to be transcribed by our cells, either into RNA, or all the way into proteins. 3/n

Yesterday @senwarren released an analysis of her DNA that revealed five segments of DNA containing genetic markers indicating they originated in the people who first came to the Americas. I wrote about it for @nytimes nytimes.com/2018/10/15/sci… 2/
Based on the segment sizes, geneticist @cdbustamante & his colleagues estimated @senwarren has a Native American ancestor who lived 6-10 generations ago. @FreemanWSJ concludes—wrongly—that Warren is between “1/64th and 1/1024th” Native American (i.e.,1.56%-.097%). Mistake #1! 3/

She implored @VaughnHillyard: "Educate the people"
The couple did not have coronavirus symptoms but took the chloroquine phosphate as a preventative measure. They feared contracting coronavirus.

The couple each mixed 1 tsp of chloroquine phosphate w soda.
-Within 20 minutes, they began experiencing severe sickness & called 911
"I was in the pantry stacking dog food and I just saw it sitting in the back shelf and thought, ‘Hey, isn’t that the stuff they’re talking about on TV?’ And it was."

Hillyard interviewed her from her hospital bed over the phone:

"Within thirty minutes of ingestion, the couple experienced immediate effects requiring admittance to a nearby Banner Health hospital," the hospital said in a statement warning against self-medicating to prevent or treat Covid-19. 🔽
Since posting this tweet, Axios deleted the embedded post to clarify that the couple confused the anti-malaria drug w/ the additive used to clean fish tanks.

The wife told NBC later that day they were motivated by Trump's touting chloroquine, mixing up the cleaner with the drug.

It wasn't prescribed. I can't find the dosage they took. They could have drank a 10g bottle of aquarium cleaner for all I know.

Nonetheless, the left blames Trump. They are loathsome evil people.

Chloroquine phosphate is not hydroxychloroquine.
Hydroxychloroquine is the less toxic of the two. They took the more toxic. I still can't find at what dose.
