10k ventilators ordered from a vacuum cleaner manufacturer, Dyson - never made them before and design will have to be medically approved first, which usually takes some time. Yet gov turns down offers of ventilators from specialist manufacturers via the EU.

It is all madness.

We have the official transcript in the Wilson case

We are able to confirm absolutely that yes the PM is proceeding with brexit, which she admits is her own personal decision, in full knowledge that the referendum is a site of corruption which she will not investigate or quantify
However, when we noted “unblemished” it in fact said “untarnished”
The Prime Minister is on record as embarking on brexit, her personal choice, in full knowledge that the referendum is tarnished, but with no idea how much.

This is the only foundation for her decision

@JMPSimor There were initially 2 UK producers, Smiths in Luton and Medtronics in NI.

Smiths formed a consortium with other UK manufacturers, shared its IP & has an order for 30k #ventilators, with an initial 5k to be delivered soon-ish (presumably part of the 12k that's really only 8k).

@JMPSimor Smiths make the Parapac ventilator, which does not require external power & is intended for mobile use, such as in ambulances, BUT is not guaranteed to be suitable for longer-term use.

Medtronic (Galway) make Puritan Bennett PB980 & PB840 ventilators for critically ill patients.

So he teases our careful conversation. He backs off when Connor’s frown deepens into a scowl. He considers it a massive victory the first time he gets Connor to smile.

To celebrate the impending 10th anniversary of @GamesDoneQuick , I've taken the liberty of compiling a list of 100 of the best runs showcased throughout its history. I'll be adding one run to this thread every day until the 1st of January, which marks ten years to the day.
Some caveats:
* No, these aren't literally the best 100 runs. How do you even measure that? But they're all runs I think leave their impact on the event's history.
* Obviously I haven't picked any of my own runs - but there are some I commentated on, and felt privileged to do so.
* I've got at least one run in here from all 20 live events to date - CGDQ, all 9 editions of AGDQ and SGDQ, and last year's GDQx. No JRDQ or HRDQ, sorry!

Also I won't be adding anything from the upcoming GDQx, which is this weekend, but you obviously should watch that anyway!

Boomerang lists them alphabetically not chronologically so Chuck Jones masterpieces sit side-by-side with 1960s atrocities (& later 'revival' attempts.)
