Since out senators are mostly very wealthy and corrupt people, they are convinced *everyone* is corrupt and morally bankrupt

However, the undeserving poor narrative itself is false and has been debunked by scholars, only buoyed by deficit ideology inherent in religion

Paradoxical reminder:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

Concepts such as UBI and welfare are acknowledging that *all humans are deserving* and that is why those policies offend conservatives

Republicans are morally and ethically bankrupt, and that they have no moral authority is being highlighted in a crisis
