I’m almost to the end of season 1 of Hunters (really good show about concentration camp survivors hunting the Nazis brought to America under Paperclip), and it made something much more clear to me.

Ever stop to wonder why all of the anti-white male propaganda has popped up-
lately?

How do you start a war?

Separate the populace by creating a scapegoat, turning the populace against them, dehumanize them, take their power & money and unite the rest against the one group.

We’ve been watching Nazi tactics, being used by ppl quick to call us Nazis -
The clue would be, if someone really good at mapping comms & networks could, trace it back to the beginning.

When did the first anti-white male propaganda begin?

More importantly, with whom - and who was controlling them?

I’m still on the fence about 2 options, but this is an amazing thread digging into 1 of them.
Either:
1. POTUS knew China was going to attack, so reacted quickly (this thread digs into that well)
2. POTUS’ people in media knew they’d try to hammer him, so he went where they -
never imagined he would, taking steps they hadn’t planned he would take (a good repeat of his Ukraine phone call release immediately), and he’s using WuFlu as an excuse to enact things they’d never let him get away with, because it will be the demise of the traitors

There are -
data points right now leading in both directions, but 1 thing is certain: the numbers for WuFlu just don’t add up...neither does their purposely inflating the WuFlu deaths (incl ppl dying of head injuries as WuFlu deaths)

But in the end there’s 1 thing to remember: trust @POTUS

The first *out* lesbian detective is Helen Kermos, from Eve Zaremba's WORK FOR A MILLION, from 1986, which seems late but is in fact the correct year. (Graphic novel of WORK FOR A MILLION coming out next January [bedsidepress.com/product/work-f…] by @amandadeibert and @selenagoulding). 2/
The world of fiction wasn't ready for an out lesbian detective before then. What the world did have, a century before, was Hilda Serene, a lesbian detective who, typical for gay and lesbian and trans characters of the era, was out to knowledgeable readers without being *out*. 3/

I think I have a thing or two to say about it. So, please bear with me through this thread.
What is it that the so-called RW in India is often accused of? "A false sense of pride in India's past"? I have a feeling this meme fits that description with a slight modification.
Tamil Nadu has plenty to be proud of. In the present, it leads the country in terms of several important HDI indices, employment creation etc. etc. Historically, the architecture of its temples, schools of philosophy, cultural connect with SE Asia and so on.

Here's my thread on being diagnosed with #dyslexia at 34.

I am currently in the 5th year of a part-time PhD program and just got diagnosed with dyslexia and potentially ADD (Jury's still out on that one).
I've had several well-meaning friends and family members question my need for a diagnosis or even warning me about getting diagnosed. The general concern seems to be that, since I am academically successful, dyslexia obviously can't have impacted my life too badly.
Since I am "fine", why should I try and get myself diagnosed with a "learning difficulty"?

There is a undercurrent in there that it would either be indecent of me to ask for special treatment or that defining myself as dyslexic might somehow affect my self-image negatively

"Competitive wokeness", like "virtue signaling" and "preference falsification", seems to be something people on the right say in order to pretend that people on the left don't really believe what they claim to believe.
Basically we have a whole bunch of ways of saying "You can't possibly believe that!!". Which helps us avoid the terrifying fact that yes, people generally do believe it.
Of course, "believe" doesn't mean what it means in econ class. It means that people get a warm feeling from asserting something, even if they don't know what it means. "God is omnipotent", etc.
