I have it, I can do it w/ a pen, we've used it on 2 minor occasions. but for the most part, we don't need it. companies are stepping up on their own, they want to do this. they're doing things, they don't need to be told to

I'm a fan of Sen H, and it's a good idea. But cruises are great companies, they're based in diff places, I like the concept of perhaps coming into the US and registering here. Very tough to make a loan when based in another country.

The predictions of models don't match the reality on the ground. We're 5x the size of Italy, based on

those predictions Italy should have close to 500k deaths, but we're not even close to that. Models are models, there's enough real data to make the predicitions much more sound.

PPL talking about 20% being infected is scary, but the data doesn't show that happening

To say that to the American people, we don't have an evidence of that right now, it's our job collectively to make sure that doesn't happen.

You can see the cases are concentrated in highly urban areas. There are other parts of NY that don't have any infections right now.

There's no reality that we can see that 60-70% of Americans are going to get infected in the next 8-12 weeks.

We're adapting to the reality on the ground, looking at models but learning clearly from other countries...the only ppl over 1:1000 cases are nations w/ very small pops

Media has asked me about interventions that we're talking about, what we'd likely see if we clamped things down. You do it to buy yourself time from possible rebound and to mitigate the further spread.

Even before! When I get to phase 2 i'm gonna find someone who's gonna make it

Big question, FDA is working on that now, they have applications coming in. The OG SARS antigens react very well to WuFlu antibodies

There are states that have been doing surveillance & contact tracing all along. Doesn't get reported bc it's not exciting, but there are states doing that, which is why we have confidence that's going on. We have the flu platform

We're trying to utilize a laser-focus instead of gerneralized. I'm confident we can bc we've done it in sub-saharan

Africa to combat HIV there. We have it down to a GPS coordinate for a hospital in Africa

Q: would you suggest restrictions for high vs low risk counties?
This is a fed to local gov dialogue they need to have. We need very clear data disaggregation at the local level

We've been able to track regional spread well, so this is why we're asking for surveillance to keep the spread down

That's what we're working on , we owe that to the President, that's what we're working on right now (getting that granularity)
