this is not unreasonable, GE’s Healthcare division is already one of the largest manufacturers of ventilators in the country. It has also lobbied against efforts that would make them easier to repair vice.com/en_us/article/…
I need to correct my first tweet as well as the headline we used originally: workers at a GE plant and at GE HQ both protested because they want to make ventilators. They were not technically on shift when they did it, so it wasn't a "walkoff." This is my fault, I'm sorry
the point stands in that workers at these plants want to make ventilators and are demanding their company do so
