1.The general cure rate in #Wuhan, the epicentre of the outbreak was 94%, while almost 90% of those in critical condition were able to return to normal life.
3. The Chinese nation places huge respect on the old. The cure rate for patients over 80 years was 70%, over 3600 of them was saved in #Wuhan. One woman was 101 years old and underwent 9 days of hospital treatment and meticulous care.
4. A 70-year-old man who underwent 3 months of treatment was saved by using ECMO twice. His medical expense would have been 1.4 million RMB (£164,000), all covered by the Chinese state. The govt covered all expenses during #COVID19. Costs varied btw 150,000 to over 1 million RMB
5. Pregnant women and children were very well looked after. The Wuhan Children’s Hospital alone cured 779 infected babies and helped deliver 2283 babies with no cross-infection in the hospital. New babies during the epidemic are very special.
6. A baby (Niuniu)was infected 17 days after birth and suffered a high fever and difficult breathing but was saved after more than three-week 24-hour care in an incubator with antiviral and nutrient treatment. Parents are very grateful.
7. A pregnant woman was infected and her baby was in grave danger. To treat the mother and keep the baby safe is no easy thing. Doctors performed an emergency C-section on her. The baby was 4 weeks premature but healthy & free from infection. The mother was cured and thankful. 
8. No single factor can explain China's low death rate: The Party and govt value life in theory and practice; We flooded Wuhan with medics and resources including life-saving ECMOs; Treatment was made free; The economy was on hold; medics have kind hearts and do their job. #heros
